"I have found combining chiropractic care with acupuncture, specific rehabilitative exercises and yoga, offers deeper and more well-rounded physical outcomes. I believe wellness is a collaborative approach; I work closely with my patients to tailor their treatments and to prescribe stretch and strengthening exercises to support them outside of our sessions." - Dr. Hayley

Dr. Hayley's story

Learning the art of chiropractic was a natural extension of a life long fascination of the body and its ability to not only move us through our day to day lives but to perform physically demanding tasks as well.

As a young gymnast and dancer, Dr. Hayley witnessed her body learn to do many skills requiring both strentgh and flexibility.  It was essential that the alignment of her spine and extremities was healthy in order to withstand the training it took to accomplish such skills.  Dr. Hayley learned early on that the body heals itself with better efficiency, accumulates less chronic injuries and feels better with chiropractic care.

Dr. Hayley went on to earn a Bachelors of Science (Hons) degree from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.  It was here that she also discovered yoga and its benefits to our health.  Developing a consistant yoga practice played a pivotal role in helping Dr. Hayley realize that she wanted a career where she could combine her love for the health sciences with her belief that the body could naturally heal itself when attention was paid to alignment and posture.

In 2008, Dr. Hayley graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and opened her own practice within Moksha Yoga Uptown, where she also teaches yoga.  She has an interest in posture related pain, pregnancy related conditions, helping office workers through the aches and pains of sitting at a desk day after day, and in developing personalized rehabilitative exercise plans for her patients.
